This session will describe a statewide initiative to coordinate collaborative efforts in the health and mental health care response to abuse. Speakers will share how healthcare organizations, advocacy services, statewide agencies, and researchers around the state are working to mobilize efforts through outreach, educational, and research strategies. Participants will learn about the process of developing this project, explore potential for similar efforts in their own regions, and gain insight into the challenges and benefits involved in this approach.
