  2. Explore the challenges of and opportunities for introducing TIC into multi-disciplinary complex systems.
  3. Identify steps for cultivating buy-in from stakeholders and creating strategies to begin an implementation process for TIC within attendees' unique settings.
Description:
The process and tools for incorporating Trauma Informed Care (TIC) into the health care setting will be discussed and presented during this session. The presenters will describe a process for engaging leadership, utilizing available tools and implementing a TIC needs assessment in the health care setting. Examples of TIC in practice will be discussed using case scenarios.
