Description:
This half day pre-conference is designed for professionals who are building a research and/or academic career with a focus on abuse and violence. Members of the Academy on Violence and Abuse Faculty Development Committee will present a series of learning modules targeted to increase learners ability to understand the different types of research, levels of evidence, negotiating the IRB process, requirements of research, career opportunities available in the field, and other topics necessary to career advancement for junior faculty.
