Description:
This workshop will use a variety of teaching methods; case studies, group exercises, and interactive lectures to help participants understand the growing issue of abuse and neglect of older adults. The workshop will draw both parallels and distinctions between abuse of younger victims ( under 50 ) and those older victims that face different barriers to safety and the physical, emotional and social well being they deserve.
