Description:
This presentation will focus on one component of the Towards Better Practice research findings. It will identify attitudes and practices of mental health workers when working with women who have experienced domestic violence and mental health concerns. The aim of this presentation is to highlight and work towards eradicating the multiple barriers to women's help seeking when they are experiencing domestic violence and mental health issues. Thus, ensuring that women's safety needs are appropriately assessed and responded to.
