Description:
Utilizing a case study, this presentation will illustrate how grief reactions, both individually and as a family, are impacted when the death is due to domestic violence. In this workshop participants will hear about an evidenced based clinical intervention, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with Traumatic Grief (TF-CBT TG) that was used with siblings who experienced the death of both parents due to domestic violence, to help ameliorate the effects of these reactions.
