Description:
The field of family support is well positioned to develop best practices for talking with families about domestic violence. Home visitors have a unique roll. In Iowa, we have made it a priority to provide home visitors with the education, skills and tools needed to work with families around the issues of domestic violence. This is an opportunity to learn how Iowa has incorporated the Futures Without Violence Healthy Moms Happy Babies training curriculum into all family support work.
