Description:
Kaiser Permanente Northern California, a large (3.2M members), integrated healthcare system made up of several medical centers, uses automated systems to track identification of intimate partner violence among patients. This metric allows ongoing assessment of the effectiveness of operational changes aimed at improving IPV identification. A detailed description of data collection and metric calculation will be provided. The presenters will share how one medical center used the metric to go from one of the lowest performers to consistently the best.
