Learning Objectives:
  1. understand the importance of computerized screeners in aiding providers to screen for DV
  2. understand the risks associated with HIV for women experiencing violence
  3. have improved methods for screening their patients/clients for HIV and DV
Description:
Despite the importance of, and opportunities for, screening, healthcare providers do not regularly screen for HIV or violence among women patients. To address the issue, we propose the use of a computerized, tailored screening instrument, WISER-DV, be utilized.
