  3. Identify the challenges that exist to improving DV supports in the current environment
Description:
The report will review the role of Boston-based managed care organization Neighborhood Health Plan (NHP) in the implementation/enhancement of domestic violence programs at three community health centers in Massachusetts. The presentation will provide attendees with an understanding of one approach health care organizations can use to both assess its current domestic violence (DV) resource needs and implement an improvement project through enhancement of resources, policies and protocols and provider trainings. Methods to overcome financial and time-constraint barriers will be discussed.
