Description:
Through our work to end interpersonal violence, teen dating violence has finally become recognized; however, the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Questioning (LGBTQQ) community, has been forgotten. When focusing on prevention, it is key to expand our focus to be inclusive and thoughtful in reaching the LGBTQQ community. In the session, participants will gain tools to understand the importance of these efforts, recognize tactics used by LGBTQQ abusers and against LGBTQQ victims, and create targeted prevention efforts.
