Description:
Futures Without Violence has developed a number of resources and tools to support capacity building for advocates, health and mental health providers to better serve children and families experiencing domestic violence. This session will cover evidence based and trauma informed interventions and strategies for promoting resilience among children and families. Information will also be presented on how advocates and health care providers can help build resilience and competence in children and parents in their everyday interactions with families.
