Description:
The Referrals Initiative, a project of Provide, Inc., aims to build the capacity of health and social service providers to offer quality abortion referrals to their clients. Domestic violence and sexual assault advocates serve as a critical link to getting women quality, compassionate care for their healthcare needs. These individuals are able to play an essential role around pregnancy options counseling and referrals, if given sufficient training and resources. This session introduces a capacity-building project being utilized among service providers.
