  3. Develop a mechanism for continuing to dialogue with other healthcare-based domestic violence advocates and program coordinators

Description:
This interactive workshop will address some of the key challenges faced, and lessons learned, by domestic violence advocates and program coordinators working in healthcare settings. The session will provide an opportunity for these professionals--who typically have little contact--to learn from each other. Additionally, participants will identify a mechanism for continuing this dialogue in the future. Areas to be addressed include program development, education, and the development and implementation of procedures for domestic violence screening/assessment and clinical management.
