Description:
This presentation will describe a clinic-based approach to providing advocacy and other services to Native American survivors of domestic violence. We will describe training requirements for all staff who may play a role in working with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. We will also discuss the clinical screening as a means to identify survivors who may want to see an advocate; and the kinds of advocacy and counseling services offered.
