- Explain the inter-dynamics of domestic violence and disabilities, which leads to prevalence of victimization
- Recognize the importance of a multi-faceted approach for healing
- Brainstorm about how to achieve replication within their own communities
This will be a report of a multi-disciplinary approach to addressing the needs of domestic violence victims. Barrier Free Living's model brings together social work, occupational therapy, psychiatry,case managers and non-traditional resources to address the trauma of abuse and help victims achieve interdependence.
