Description:
The Medical Legal Partnership at FSU brings together the Colleges of Law and Medicine to assist individuals with their joint medical and legal needs arising from experiences with violence. As part of this educational innovation, law students join with medical students and physicians to address the social determinants of health. Violence, abuse and other public health problems are also addressed, with particular attention to disparities in violence and abuse that contribute to the vulnerability and morbidity of specific population groups.
