Description:
Mace DeLorme MSW, will discuss his research with Native Male Offenders in the Hoopa Valley Batterers Intervention Program. He will look at Historic Trauma's influence on Family Violence in the Native Community through Culturally Focused Counseling useing traditional values and accountability for behavior. His theoritical approach includes CBT, Native Psychology, Addiction Psychoeducation, Reality and choice theory in Group Psychotherapy.
