Description:
To strengthen our institutional response to domestic violence, the Domestic Violence Physician Alliance was created. Consisting of ten members representing seven specialties, the purpose of this initiative is to pool the efforts of individual physicians working on domestic violence issues. Activities include developing a speakers’ bureau, an online training module, and a domestic violence research poster day. This model of collaboration could be easily replicated at other similar institutions and has enormous potential to impact the health of the community.
