- Describe two ways advocacy programs can assist women’s health and healing through safety card education and assessment for reproductive health needs
Description:
Dr. Campbell will facilitate this plenary which opens with a compelling overview of the impact of domestic and sexual violence and historical trauma on reproductive and sexual health. Panelists will discuss groundbreaking efforts to bring reproductive health services into advocacy programs and the need to expand our concept of safety planning to include reproductive coercion. They will also share recent and significant changes in the provision of care for victims of violence in reproductive health settings and feature new training tools and provider resources to help assess and respond to violence and reproductive coercion. We are honored to present Planned Parenthood Federation of America with their leadership award during this session for their pioneering efforts to improve the
reproductive health and safety of their clients.
