Description:
In this session, Dr. Keltner will consider if humans can evolve into a less violent species, reviewing what the science tells us about how positive emotions like gratitude and compassion shape ethical action and cooperative societies. Keltner will discuss how we as health care professionals, advocates, researchers, and policy makers can shape our everyday behavior to live our lives better and help the patients and clients we serve to be healthier and safer.
