Description:
A case study report about a digital storytelling initiative in Nepal, highlighting women's personal narratives of abuse as tools for public education about the country's recently adopted Domestic Violence Act. The project's participatory media methods will be explored; a series of stories will be shown; and examples of how the stories will be screened for health providers, local law enforcement agencies, and other bodies responsible for enforcing laws related to gender-based violence.
