Description:
The report will focus on concepts and approaches to preventing DV before it starts (i.e., primary prevention) and will describe how state DV coalitions have integrated primary prevention in their missions and work. Through presentation, demonstration of interactive modules and dialogue with participants, presenters will discuss a framework for placing primary prevention within a continuum of DV services and prevention efforts and explain the rationale for integrating primary prevention with an organization’s existing service work.
