Presentation Format:
Innovative/Promising Practice Program Report

Learning Objectives:
  1. Assess the viability of approaches of the WCCCPU at EAMC in their own settings
  2. Draw and use insights from the EAMC experience in enhancing their responses to gender-based violence
Description:
Two conceptual frameworks --- one of analysis and action and another showing the intersections of gender-based violence, poverty and environmental stress --- will be capped by a description of the programs and services of the Philippines' first collaboration between a government hospital and a non-government women's organization, its emergent challenges and opportunities for knowledge generation and management of health care facilities. Worksheets will be used to guide and scaffold learning in this symposium.
