This session will articulate how the violence intervention program at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston MA, compares to other programs in the same geographic area. The Center for Violence Prevention and Recovery incorporates rape crisis intervention, domestic violence and community violence. What are the strengths and limitations of an integrated program in comparison to single issue programs? What are the specific advantages of having an integrated program? What are the challenges of such a program?
