Description:
I will describe a pilot of an innovative multi-faceted intervention involving: 1) reciprocal training of domestic violence advocates and community mental health professionals; 2) a care pathway involving integrated domestic violence advocacy within community mental health teams. Our pilot has found significant improvements in knowledge and practice by professionals, and abuse and quality of life outcomes for patients
