Learning Objectives:
  1. Understand national trends in programming for children exposed to violence
  2. Identify the connection between mothers safety and child safety

Description:
Instead of asking “How are you,” members of the Masai tribe greet each other with the question, “How are the children?” They believe that the children’s wellbeing is a true measure of the wellbeing of the tribe as a whole. If the children are well, the tribe is well. This session will explore what we know about children’s exposure to domestic violence and examine multiple pathways of healing and support.
